PG PLT Meeting 2/24/16

The PLT specialist updated us on the progress of students.

We compared timelines. We agreed it will be best to assess standards 7.1 & 7.2 together, then assess standard 7.3 separately at a later date. We should be ready to assign students to RTI for standards 7.1 & 7.2 at our next meeting. Students working in RTI on unit 6 standards will be removed if they are not done by that time.

We discussed ways that we present trigonometry (standard 7.3). We also shared projects that we use during the unit.

PG PLT Meeting 2/17/16

The RTI coordinator updated us on the progress of students in RTI. We used data to determine which other students should be assigned to RTI.

We discussed timelines. All are still in the early stages of unit 7, but should be ready to assess by the end of the quarter.

PG PLT Meeting 2/10/16

We discussed timelines. The RTI specialist discussed how things are going. We data to recommend more students for RTI.

We discussed whether to change the order of Unit 6. Next year, John will pilot teaching Standard 6.3 first.

PG PLT Meeting 2/3/16

We used data to determine who would be assigned to RTI for standards 6.1 and 6.2. If some students test out before our next meeting, we may assign more students then.  We discussed timelines, and we may also be ready to assign students for standard 6.3 at next week's meeting.
