We picked our 12 words for the Warrior Words vocabulary focus.  They are: anticipate, contradict, estimate, factor, justify, model, range, relate, specify, verify, and visualize.  We did our first round of RTI referrals for the year.  We talked about our pacing for the first traditional unit and for the workshop model.

We discussed our timeline for unit 8 and talked about some formative assessments for the unit.  We talked about RTI plans for the remainder of the semester.  We will begin referring students for 8.1 next week and 8.2 the following week.

We scored and recorded data from the math practice standard #3 common assessment.  We talked about our pacing of unit 7.  We didn't have any new RTI referrals this week.

Kristi Ryken came and talked to us about instructional response.   We talked about our pacing for standard 6.3.

We finalized the Math Practice Standard #4 Post-Test question that we will administer next year.  We made RTI referrals for standards 6.1 and 6.2.

PG PLT 1/25/17

John shared an idea for an extra credit activity after the test for standards 6.1 and 6.2.  We will be testing the end of this week and the beginning of next week and will make RTI referrals next Wednesday.  We will give the math practice standard #3 benchmark test before we begin unit 7.  We looked for ideas for the next math practice standard question that we need to make next year.

PG PLT 1/18/17

We talked about our pace for unit 6.  We decided to give the second question from math practice #3 after the coordinate geometry test.  We also talked about the pacing of the next unit, coordinate geometry.  There were no referrals to RTI since we haven't tested yet this semester.

PG PLT 1/11/2017

We talked about our pace of unit 6.   We won't do referrals for a few weeks since we are starting a new unit.  We looked at the semester 1 exam results and found them to be consistent with last year's results.
